World War One and the Religion of Ordinary People in the United Kingdom
Date: Thu, 18 Nov 2021, 19:30 - 20:30
This talk is based on a paper originally given at an online international conference in June that looked at the way soldiers who died in the war were remembered by their families. Using a variety of written sources it examines the effect of the War on religious beliefs and practices amongst the many bereaved families.
